The story
Built on instinct. Proven on the dance floor.
Known among his peers for an unwavering love of music, DJ Kzee began collecting dance compilations at 17. His first opportunity to move a crowd came in 1997 at Ridley’s in the Ana Hotel, followed by sets across the Europa circuit.
A residency at the renowned Devil’s Bar in 2001 established his open-format identity. From commercial dance, trance and house to R&B and hip-hop, his selections were shaped by the room—commanded with finesse, never confined by genre.
From 2014 to 2018, that journey continued at Shanghai Dolly in Clarke Quay, adding another major Singapore nightlife destination to his career.

DJ Kzee’s work reached Power 98’s Saturday-night audience in 2007 and circulated widely through blogs and online music communities. His growing profile was documented by The New Paper and The Straits Times Life, while his mixtapes became a soundtrack for retail spaces, events, roadshows and private celebrations.
Three weekly identities. One packed room.
When St James Power Station transformed Singapore nightlife, DJ Kzee became a resident at Powerhouse. He shaped It’s A Girlie Affair on Wednesdays, house-led Fridays and the crowd-favourite Supafly on Saturdays—nights remembered for their energy, queues and fiercely loyal following.
A sound with genuine cultural reach.
His audience grew past 10,000 followers, leading to major campus appearances and a Powerhouse performance alongside DJ Felli Fel. By 2012, DJ Kzee had created more than 25 mixtapes and attracted over 200,000 downloads through djkzee.net.
Representing Singapore through music.
In 2011, DJ Kzee performed at Singapore Night in Moscow, organised by Singapore’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Singapore Tourism Board. Alongside his DJ work, his voice also featured in television, radio and corporate campaigns.
The Shanghai Dolly chapter.
From 2014 to 2018, DJ Kzee continued his club journey at Shanghai Dolly in Clarke Quay—bringing his open-format instincts and years of dance-floor experience to the venue built by Singapore nightlife pioneer Dennis Foo.
